Recently I have been trying to list a few things each day that I am grateful for. I have found that this practice has helped me stay in the moment more and truly appreciate who and what is around me. And almost every day there is something in the list that has to do with my job. Most of the time it has to do with the amazing people I get to work with every day.

Mikki and Jake are the kind of people that you could sit over a beer with and just talk all freaking day. They are down to earth, empathetic people that just really love life. Jake trains dogs and Mikki teaches. We went on an adventure up to Palisade Head last fall and explored the rocks and tried really hard not to fall into Lake Superior. And for those of you wondering Mikki got her gorgeous ring from Wedding Day Diamonds-which I hear is a super awesome place to get your rings-according to a bunch of my more recently engaged friends. (not a paid ad for them but more of an observation.)
