Alex and Mary: A Siesta Key Engagement

"So I can kiss you anytime I want."

Sweet Home Alabama

I LOVE engagement sessions.  Like LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE them. Don't get me wrong, I love what follows the engagement session-the wedding-but there is nothing better than spending two hours with two people in love, in their comfy clothes, talking about life, how they met, our most embarrassing stories (book me and you will hear mine-I have lots but there are some really good ones in there that I guarantee will make you feel better about yourself).   But you know what I love most about engagement sessions? That there is no fuss. There is no pressure. It is just FUN. Now, don't get me wrong weddings are a blast too. But during engagement sessions there really is no fear of getting dirty, or wet, or climbing this or climbing that. Plus, it is such a great time for myself to CONNECT with my couples.

I was so excited to hear from Mary. My sister had grown up with her and so although I didn't know her I remembered her being smart, witty, funny, and just a really nice person. So, when she and Alex not only booked me but said-let's do our engagement session on a beach in Florida in November I was in heaven.  Florida November really kicks Minnesota November's butt.

I met them at the beautiful Siesta Key Beach and had so much fun. There is a reason that beach is rated number one in the US-the sand is soft, there is a ton of room, and it has UH-MAZING sunsets. I can't wait to celebrate with Alex and Mary this coming July in Minnesota (because let's face it Minnesota summers totally beat Florida's summers.) and party with them in Stillwater!!
