Last summer when Bryan asked Kara to marry him (in one of the most romantic proposals ever... think surprises, roses, and a moonlit walk) I was honored to find out that they were interested in having me take their engagement pictures and then to capture their special day.​

​These two are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Both are so kind, soft spoken, and just plain old Minnesota nice.  They go out of their way to bless their friends and bring out the best in the other.

​Their wedding day gave the first hint of winter cold.  Even though it was only the beginning of October it was windy, cold, and overcast.  And yet, you would never know they were freezing and were such good sports about taking pictures outside at a friend's farm.

The detail and thought put into Kara and Bryan's wedding was romantic and sentimental. Their reception consisted of their favorite foods from apple pie pops to cream cheese won tons.  It was so much fun being a part of something so magical as two people dedicating their lives together forever.​
